Surfrut is a family-owned company. It started in 1945 as a grower, processor, and packer of fresh cherries. The
orchards and processing facilities are in Romeral, in the
Central Valley of Chile. We have been cultivating, processing, and delivering healthy food products to our

We work with our partners Unique Ingredients in the US, where we have our commercial offices. We deliver our
products direct to the customers in North America, operating with 2 warehouses in the U.S (East and West
Coast) and one in Canada to provide a flexible and responsive inventory supply.

Surfrut works to develop new products, and processing techniques in collaboration with partners and customers
worldwide. As part of our innovation strategy, we work closely with the main food technology centers in Chile
and
abroad, whether these centers are public, private, or governmental.
Our R&D team is devoted to obtaining the best results by adding more value to the customer and giving them the
edge over the competition. We invest in working together with our customers to develop new products, new
packaging, new ideas and bringing solutions in the spirit of partnership. We look at the problem from the

Increasing biodiversity and achieving system equilibrium is our main commitment with the environment.
For this, composting is key – we compost 100% of the residuals from the factory and the fields through our
vermicomposting technique.
All our wastewater residual is treated by wermicompost system. This innovative system removes up to 99% of
wastewater contaminants producing high quality water that can be reused for irrigation in the orchards and as a
nutritious fertilizer for our organic production.
